The main goal of the article is to analyse the relationship between the level of debt and the level of efficiency of using the invested capital. The article is based on the analysis of the subject literature and the use of financial analysis tools. The analysis confirmed the relationship between the debt ratio and Return on Invested Capital. Conducted considerations should be treated as a starting point for further in-depth analysis regarding the impact of the capital structure on the effectiveness of the enterprise.
